The Children's Tumor Foundation NF Endurance Team is a charity based program in which participants run, bike, and swim in events nationwide to raise awareness and research dollars to end neurofibromatosis (NF).

Athletes may choose between one of our Premier Events, Community Events, Kids Events, or pick their own race using the "Choose Your Own" option.  Many of our events offer a variety of free benefits:

• Fundraising support from experienced staff and volunteers
  
  
• Connection to an NF Hero to inspire you in your training and fundraising

Why

1 in 3,000 people are living with neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body.  Currently there are no effective treatments, but the CTF NF Endurance athletes give those individuals and families hope for a cure.  Team members help the Children's Tumor Foundation spread the word about NF and raise vital dollars to:

• FUND RESEARCH programs targeted toward ending NF through the development of effective therapies
• SUPPORT affected indviduals and their families by providing thorough, accurate, and current information about NF
• DEVELOP clinical centers, best practices, and other patient support mechanisms to create better access to quality healthcare
• EDUCATE the non-affected population of the challenges facing people with NF, and promote earlier and accurate diagnoses by the medical community
